Q. I know a very little bit, but haven't been successful in learning more on my own. Part of the problem I have been running into is that even common words sometimes have more than one meaning. I have already talked to my university about offering it as a course and hiring a grad students from Manchester to teach it. I totally got shot down, but yet they think that Gaelic and Ojibwe are important languages for people to learn. There really aren't that many books on the language out there that I am aware of and the one that I bought contradicted much of what I thought was correct.
