How many people are supporting Hillary because she is a woman/Obama because he is black?
Q. I have to wonder why anyone would support Hillary or Obama. I have heard several people say Hillary would be a good president because we need change. Same with Obama. Neither of them have any experince to offer. The only explination I can come up with is that people are supporting them because of skin color or gender. Not for any substantive reason.

A. I agree people just want these two because of their differences. I think if one of them gets in then we will just have another retard in office that only speaks a little better.

A. The discovery of the so called hot Jupiters, which are gas giants orbiting their star at very close distance, supports the notion that the planetary disk form which the planets form, also slows down the planets by friction. The effect is that they slowly spiral inwards. The problem with Neptune's orbit (and probably Uranus as well) is that the density of matter in the outer regions of the planetary disk was too low to account for the formation of a large body as Neptune. Example: the total mass of the Kuiper Belt is estimated to be enough to form a planet with a diameter of only a few thousand kms. So Neptune must have form closer inwards and have migrated outwards. The mechanism is that Neptune scatters a lot of planetesimals towards… [cont.]

A. The most commonly used are plant stakes, but for tomatoes, tomato cages. There are many variations put out by different manufacturers to choose from, but I go for the biodegradable and eco-friendly bamboo stakes. They are cheap and will break down after time.

What is some supporting evidence for the domino theory?
Q. For History, I have to write a paper on controversies of the domino theory. I need some evidence supporting it and that it was a legit reason for entering the Vietnam war.
Asked by runwaychika1050 - Sat May 2 15:52:40 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The domino theory was accurate. The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries,Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand stayed free of Communism because of the U.S.commitment to Vietnam. The Indonesians threw the Soviets out in 1966 because of America's commitment in Vietnam. Without that commitment, Communism would have swept all the way to the Malacca Straits that is south of Singapore and of great strategic importance to the free world. If you ask people who live in these countries that won the war in Vietnam, they have a different opinion from the American news media. The Vietnam War was the turning point for Communism.

We can do that ourselves and it seems technology is taking the chores away from us, that can be easily done by human themself. A. Join groups like NumbersUSA.com and ALIPAC.com,for activist opportunities to fax your members of Congress, the president, and other government members that vote on or influence Congressional bills regarding immigrants. These groups also publicize activities and actions you can take as a tax paying American who is sick of your government's handout of your tax dollars to illegals and uneducated immigrants.

A. Demographics such as the distribution by age of residents, number of pet owners, number of frequent travelers, etc. could all be important factors in identifying your target market and how many there are of them in the area. For example, if pet owning, frequent travel ling people aged 40 to 60 are the most likely to use kennel services it is helpful to know where they live and if their numbers are growing and by how much. These data will help you make an accurate projection of potential sales.

A. As a custom home builder- I'm not guessing. Generally, a bearing wall will always have the ceiling joists (visible in the attic) crossing them. If the joists are parallel (run the same direction as the wall), it's not a load bearing wall. The one exception is when you see some kind of bracing from roof framing that sits directly on top of the wall. This is uncommon but possible. If the joists cross the wall, it is probably a load bearing wall, but not always. To know, you would look to see if the joists have ends or joints resting on the wall. If so, it is definitely load bearing. If there are no ends or joints over the wall but the joists are long and the wall is located in the center area of them, the wall is at least carrying… [cont.]

can you put a round window into a double brick supporting wall?
Q. I would never attempt it myself, don't worry, but just wondering if a builder would still have to put up supporting beams etc if they were to cut a window into the wall rather than pull it down altogether. Trying to find a cost effective way of letting some light in without going to the expense of pulling it down, reinforcing etc, as it is a supporting wall. I'm thinking a window of maybe 75cm diameter. any ideas of rough costs in Australia?

A. yes the top part of the circle will distribute the weight of the supported structure much the same as a roman arch as found on the coliseum. Would not be cost effective as the wall would need to be partially supported during construction. The use of a lintel would be quick and relatively cheap to put a rectangle window in. I would suggest approx $600 to 700 for rectangle window. triple it for round.
